Game discovery and analytics on Twitch

At BuzzGuru, you can access a large amount of analytical data on game mentions on Twitch. Below, on the example of the Fortnite game, we will consider what analytical data about this game mentions on Twitch you can study on our platform.

Game Mentions on Twitch

On the main page, select the “Games” tab. Browse the games provided in our list or search for the necessary one applying filters. Check that the platform selected is Twitch:


We’ve selected Fortnite, the top popular game on Twitch, as an example. When clicking on the game’s name in the list, you will get a complete game’s profile with all the general characteristics on top of the page, including average online time, the total number of influencers, mentions, and views:

Below, we’ve gathered the essential data about the game, including:

  • Its rankings in YouTube mentions and other ratings;
  • Its genre, official website, publisher and developer’s names, platforms supporting the game, and tags mentioned with this game; 
  • Short description of the game;
  • A chart showing the allocation of mentions between YouTube and Twitch. You can upload it as a separate png-file;
  • The list of other games provided by the developer.


Next, you will find short reports, including the number of influencers dealing with this game, the overall number of mentions on YouTube, and the number of views. You can observe the mention dynamics on YouTube within 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months:  

Additionally, you can specify the period to observe the dynamics of mentions by views and videos. For that, click on the calendar button and determine the period:

You can also upload the mention dynamics chart as a separate png-file. For that, click the upload button above the chart:


The following block contains the information about the distribution of publications by language for the period you have specified above:


Next, we provide the mention calendar. On hovering over a particular day, you will see the number of videos mentioning the game on Twitch:

The following block depicts the streamer’s portrait. It consists of stat data demonstrating average viewers per stream, average subscribers per stream, engagement rate percentage of a stream, and average price per streamer:

Next, we’ve collected the examples of publications mentioning the game:

You can sort the Twitch publications by the number of a streamer’s subscribers, the number of views, the date of the last stream, broadcast language, and the engagement rate.

For your convenience, you can unite the necessary streamers in a separate list. For that, tick the streamer and push the “Add to list” button:

The last section is the list of streams mentioning the game on Twitch. You can select from the latest streams or the most popular ones. Under the streams, you will see the number of views, stream duration, and the max. number of viewers online at the same time:

If you click on the video, you will be redirected to the “Video” section of our platform, having an opportunity to watch the video and observe the analytics immediately.

For a better analysis of all the streamers mentioning the game on Twitch, you can apply the filters. For that, click on the “Streamers” tab on top of the game’s page:

Next, search for a particular streamer typing the name in the search bar or applying filters. You can search for the streamers according to:

  • The number of subscribers;
  • The number of stream views;
  • The average number of viewers online at the same time
  • Publication date;
  • Broadcast language.
